We’ve decided to retire Picasa in order to focus on a single photo service in Google Photos – a new, smarter photo app that works seamlessly across mobile and the web. Where can I find my photos? If you have photos or videos in a Picasa Web Album, the easiest way to still access, modify and share most of that content is to log in to Google. The latest version of Picasa is 3.9 on Mac Informer. It is a perfect match for Viewers & Editors in the Design & Photo category. The app is developed by Google and its user rating is 4.2 out of 5.
Picasa from Google is one cool piece of software to view and manage photos with ease. Till now, it was available for Windows based computer - Picasa for Mac is now out with beta tag. Being an initial release number of features are missing including: webcam capture, geotagging, online print ordering and export to HTML.
Also, the Photo Viewer software that accompanies Picasa 3 on Windows is not included on the Mac. Expect to see these features in future releases. Download Picasa for Mac (requires an Intel-based Mac and Mac OS X 10.4+). Here is video explaining it all:
